Read the ticket number to the receiver so they can note it on their copy.
Delivery tickets
Pick a date range, check the preview, then download the QuickBooks import file or use the report to key the invoices. Mark them invoiced once they're in QuickBooks.
The QuickBooks item name must match the item in QuickBooks exactly, or the import will create a new item. Price changes apply to new tickets only.
How wholesale pie sales from Joyce & Co to Granny's Cafe are recorded and invoiced. Store staff never touch QuickBooks; accounting builds invoices from the tickets.
- Open Pie Log from the phone's Home Screen and stay on New delivery.
- Count the pies with the Granny's receiver and tap + for each one. Write any shortages or swaps in Notes.
- The receiver types their name and signs the box. Tap Save delivery ticket and read them the ticket number.
- Mistake? Before it's invoiced, open the ticket under Tickets, void it, and enter a new one.
- Open Invoicing. Set last week's date range and enter the next invoice number from QuickBooks.
- Check the preview, then either download the QuickBooks import file and use File → Utilities → Import → IIF Files, or download the report and key the invoices in Customers → Create Invoices.
- Open the new invoices in QuickBooks and confirm the totals match.
- Back here, tap Mark as invoiced. Those tickets lock and drop out of next week's batch.
Invoiced tickets can't be changed. If Granny's disputes a count, issue a credit memo in QuickBooks with the ticket number in its memo. If an invoice was marked by mistake, delete it under Invoicing → Invoices already marked: its tickets go back to Not invoiced. Delete or void the same invoice in QuickBooks too.
